Luz de Luna
PIANO-VIOLIN-DANCE RECITAL

LUZ DE LUNA, the benefit piano-dance recital has taken place at Carnegie Hall in New York City on November 3. 2014. The event’s proceeds and sponsorships are Crescendo con la Musica Foundation’s (CMF) main fundraising endeavor of the fiscal year. The monies raised will fund and support the Foundation’s efforts to provide musical education to underserved children in Guadalajara, Mexico, as well as future projects across Latin America.

LUZ DE LUNA will be the first benefit concert aimed at expanding CMF’s fundraising and public relations activities. The Rockefeller Brothers Fund is underwriting this concert gala.
Jorge Viladoms Weber has shared the concert stage with Crescendo con la Musica wherever he performs. Jorge’s concerts throughout Europe and North America has allowed him to spread the vision of the Foundation.
Out of this pledge from the Foundations new friends, LUZ DE LUNA, a collaborative piano-dance-violin concert was born. We are honored to announce that the Paris Opera Ballet’s Hervé Moreau will make a world premier of a set of dances that have been choreographed by Benjamin Millepied for the occasion, renown violinist Charlie Siem will share the stage with the artists.
